18 Mar 2025
We specialise in identifying and treating delays in the neurodevelopmental process, in children and adults. We also work to enhance neuroplasticity.
At the root of our approach is the work of the INPP, in identifying primitive reflexes that may still be present in children or adults, beyond the time by which they should have been integrated. The continued presence of these reflexes can cause delays in the important postural reflexes establishing themselves, and can also impact learning, behaviour, mood, anxiety, as well as just make life more challenging. They can be at the root of difficulties such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, anxiety, bed-wetting, thumb-sucking and a number of other issues.
We are able to identify any reflexes that might still be active, and through the use of a specialised intervention program of very simple exercises, allow the body to integrate these primitive reflexes and also allow the postural reflexes to establish.
We are also able to encourage and stimulate neuroplasticity through the use of the Ronnie Gardiner Method, a music, movement and vocalisation program that has seen remarkable success in shifting neurological complications such as stroke, dementia, Parkinson’s, as well as ADHD and focus.
Together, these approaches and their associated therapies can bring remarkable changes in people’s experience and lives. Fundamental to both of these is that the way to change is from the bottom up. Both approaches help to make shifts to the foundations, which then provides an essential stable base from which stronger growth and development can happen — at any age!
